Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robotic vacuum-mop is a great option for apartment dwellers as it has smaller docking systems and comes with its own trash bin. The app allows you to choose different modes and monitor the cleanliness and mopping. vacuum bot mopping feature impresses.

Its mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance are impressive, while it scrubs very well, picking up pet hair, spillages and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and refills its tank.
Roomba iRobot Combination
The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. The iRobot Combo can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It scrubs more, and has an app for mobile devices that is easier to use, but it's a good alternative. In our tests, it consistently picked up dirt of all sizes and types from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as advanced as other systems like LiDAR or structured light, but it still can prevent collisions in the majority of cases.
The Combo has the same smarts as the j7 Plus and comes with new onboard acoustic sensors to identify the type of floor and AI-powered navigation, but isn't able to set suction power manually. It's also a bit smaller than the vac-only model and doesn't include an auto-emptying dock.
The Combo is one of my favorite options for homes with a lot of space. Its elegant design is also among the most attractive I've seen in the industry. The matte black finish is more sophisticated than the metallic or glossy finishes of the majority of competitors. iRobot also adds some more elegant features, such as the leather tab that opens the bin that is onboard and a shelf to hold bags in the dock. The iRobot Combo also makes it easy to create maps of your home, as well as to create Keep-Out Zones, No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.
Roborock
Roborock, a relatively recent player in the robotic mop and vacuum industry has already made its mark with an array of cutting-edge cleaning technologies. The brand's vacuums have industry-leading suction, and its mopping systems utilize vibrating mops to keep floors of dust. You can also alter the bot's cleaning routine by using a variety of scheduling and mapping options.
Roborock's obstacle avoidance feature allows the robot to detect objects that are lower than its own height. This is particularly useful for the most well-known Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is the best in its class in terms of navigation courtesy of both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to run over pet faeces and slam furniture with no awareness. The Qrevo Master however, addresses this problem by using an AI system called Reactive which makes use of two cameras to see the presence of objects in a room.
Roborock robots have a variety of convenience features to cut down on maintenance. These include docks that are automatically empty, and mop washing stations with many functions. They eliminate the need to empty the dustbins manually and wash mops, which makes for an entirely hands-free ownership experience. The app is simple to use due to its simple design and the lag-free connection with the robot.
Hobot Legee D8
With a range of cleaning modes that are integrated and advanced mopping options, the Hobot Legee is among the best robot vacuums/mops for wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system combines five technologies to design and take the most efficient route. It can also recognize various flooring materials and obstacles with precision. It can even raise its own 7mm to glide over carpets. The intelligent spray system uses the appropriate amount of water to get rid of staining without leaving ugly water marks.
The Legee is a Gen 4 robot that competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 and Ecovacs Deebot T20, both of which are priced higher. It has more features that include a swivel D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets more effectively than the round version. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro E-compass, and Encoder) four forward-facing and one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two cliff detectors in the front and back (most robots only have one pair). The system also has Legee SLAM to help reduce the bump-and-grind issues that plague Gen 4 robots.
Unlike most other robots, the Legee comes with a built-in trash compactor, and is compatible with the less noisy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop wash station is included and washes, refills and dries your mop's 'cloth. This means you can use it up to six times longer than with other mops. It also reduces waste and the frequency at the frequency of emptying bins.
Karcher RCV 5
Karcher is known for its gardening tools and pressure washers, has been dabbling with robot vacuums for quite some time. This is the most advanced model from the company. Powered by LiDAR, it creates maps of your house and can be programmed to vacuum or mop. It also differentiates between carpets and hard floors, so you don't get puddles on your precious pile.
Its navigation is flawless that can avoid carpets or furniture with ease. It can also lift itself over steps. The robot is programmable with a variety of settings, including cleaning schedules and the rooms it is expected to clean. It also has an emergency button that will make the robot return to the base when it is running out of power and it can also be programmed to automatically turn off when the weather is forecast to be stormy.
The RCV 5 is easy to use and, while large at almost 4kg, it's not too difficult to manoeuvre around furniture. Safety features such as sensors that warn it to avoid stairs will be appreciated by those with smaller children. After being charged it takes just a few hours to charge and the two buttons at the top will blink in green to signal that it is now ready to use.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that combines advanced cleaning technology with affordability. It's a contender to models like the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's bestseller Q Revo. The Mova E30 Ultra is a cheaper model, but it has features not found in other models. It makes use of sensors to adjust its settings for different floors and surfaces, and also to detect dirtier areas and ensure that they get enough attention. It also moves at a an accelerated pace to avoid damage to delicate furniture and walls.
The device can map the interior of your home that you can view in the app. You can also mark out specific rooms and objects you want the vacuum to stay clear of. The vacuum will slow down when it spots an obstacle and stop from hitting it. It also comes with a smart dust bin which will alert you to the fullness of the bin so that you can empty the bin in time.
The Mova E30 Ultra is an budget-friendly option for anyone looking to delegate the chores of daily cleaning. It's a robot mop and vacuum that can clean your floors without needing to lift a single finger. It features a clever design which improves the cleaning of corners by as much as 60%. It comes with a suction capacity of up to 7,000 Pa and RoboSwing arm, which can be controlled by the app or voice assistants like Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 is a stylish, feature-packed robot vacuum/mop. It does a great job of keeping floors tidy and clean. It's not able to lift its mops to clean carpets and rugs as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, but it is very good at cleaning hard floors. It has a self emptying bin, a high level of suction, a range of mopping options, and a premium app that runs on iOS and Android.
It's a bit smaller than the other models, and its main brush is shorter but it was able to do to do a good job in our test room. The brush that rotates on the side for edges is a nice touch and, while it didn't remove dirt from our rugs as well as some of the competitors but it did a decent job overall.
The robot can be programmed with specific cleaning parameters for each room. It can then create detailed maps using the built-in LiDAR navigation. It's simple to control through the app and a range of voice output options will keep you informed of the condition of your home robot. Regular updates to the software can improve and enhance its performance. The application can be used to remotely control the RCV3 even when you're away from home.
